Mitra Goris is the curator and voice behind the Daily Wisdom series — an expanding collection of over twenty works dedicated to the healing of the modern soul. The name "Mitra" is derived from the ancient root for "Friend," and this defines his entire approach. He is not a guru of a single dogma or an academic locked in an ivory tower; he is a spiritual companion walking the path of inquiry beside you. Mitra's work maps the great landscape of human wisdom — from the compassion of Jesus to the resilience of the Stoics, from the mindfulness of Zen to the flowing clarity of the Tao, from the insights of modern Psychology to the timeless teachings of Marcus Aurelius and beyond. His mission is to synthesize these diverse traditions into a coherent, healing philosophy for today. He specializes in stripping away the rigid layers of tradition to reveal the practical core of wisdom underneath. Across every volume in the series, his goal remains the same: to offer accessible tools for anxiety, burnout, purpose, and inner peace — one day at a time, one tradition at a time. Mitra writes for the seeker who refuses to be labeled — the one who finds truth in a cathedral, a forest, a quiet room, or the pages of an ancient text. He believes no single tradition holds the complete answer, and that the most honest path forward is one that draws from all of them. The Daily Wisdom series is a life's work in progress — a growing library for the modern seeker, built one book, one tradition, and one daily practice at a time.
